Can’t believe we’ve had the pleasure of enjoying our little Zoey for 6 weeks already! Our lives have been very busy with company in town, traveling, more visitors, a wedding and more and Zoey has slept through it all!! But since Logan is having a hard time adjusting we are grateful Zoey is so content.
Our first family picture…
Zoey looks so comfortable…
One month photo shoot, which was very fun because Logan was so excited to lay down with her (although his facial expression does not convey the same). I turned my back for a second and heard Zoey screaming, my initial thought was she was being tortured by her brother, but no, she was torturing herself by pulling her hair! I had to take a photo before I saved her…
Logan is learning to love and play with his sister more and more each day. One morning while on vacation I found him laughing and talking to her (she is actually asleep) but I hope this is the start of many fun moments they’ll share together.
Logan joining in on the computer watching fun, although I am pretty sure he had no idea what they were watching he laughed when everyone else laughed.
Out of an entire back yard to play in, Logan found the small patch of dirt and rocks and was content for hours (our future geologist?). He has recently fell in love with his hat and was showing off by walking around while it covered his eyes.
Logan and Matt’s first camping trip alone! It was only for one night, but by the looks of the car they probably could’ve survived for at least a week!
This was Matt’s favorite part of the trip, Logan’s nap! Unfortunately Logan was not in a good mood, so nap time gave dad a little bit of a break!
The two pictures below I thought were some of the best taken on their trip. And yes Joel is thigh deep in the freezing water fishing…
Sam was the only fishing victor on the trip!!
Meanwhile, Zoey and I enjoyed a lot of peace and quiet, she slept A LOT!
Lori and Joe’s wedding was beautiful! It was so much fun to share their special day with them and all the family! Logan again was having a hard time, he had to be put in several time outs, Zoey of course slept through it all.
Finally a bit of reprieve from the terrible twos, Logan discovered a stroller is a lot of fun to push down and up hill and he discovered the little water fountain/pool at the temple (so much for keeping his wedding outfit nice and clean).
At long last with blankie in hand Logan found some peace and so did we!
We love our little guy and gal and all the adventure they bring!
