If You Have a Foot Fetish

I was looking through some pictures a few weeks ago and realized Corbin can move his big toe independently of his other toes… um what!?  In almost every picture I took his toes are doing something different.

This is how his toes look normally:

He can separate his big toe laterally:

He can tuck his big toe under the toe next to it:

He can bend his big toe downward beyond what his other toes are capable:

In this one his toes remind me of a monkey foot:

So I did some more investigating by stroking his foot and got a few more good shots:

This one I call “live long and prosper”:

I call this pose “the hand”, since all toes seem to be moving independently of one another:

This is his big toe waving “hi” as it moves independent of the other toes.  

Does any of this look familiar, Uncle James??

Logan & Zoey started sharing with Corbin

One day while I was baking Logan said, “mom you’re making me upset”, when I asked why he said, “because you make everything so messy!” I asked him if he wanted to clean up and as you can see he is happy as a clam!

I love the back of Corbin’s head… it’s just too cute!

It is very rare that I can get Logan to take a nap, but one day I made him a cave and he said he was tired and needed to lay down in it.  I love that he sleeps with his hands behind his head!

I finally let Zoey use markers, she did really well at first drawing but then into the mouth they went!  It was hard to take them away because in-between sucking on them she was so proud of her picture she kept saying, “I did it!”

Logan has quite the imagination and he loves telling stories about his pictures.  Here is a picture of snakes, arrows and lightning:

Christmas 2012

Every year the kids like to get out and play with their nativity, Logan was very good at putting it together and Zoey loved all the people, she called them her “babies”.  We tried using the nativity to tell the Christmas story but their attention span didn’t last past the verse. 

We started the morning by watching the train go around the tree, at first they didn’t even notice the presents. 

Corbin spent most of the morning like this…

But the kids had lots of fun opening/paying with their presents:

Logan finally got a good snowfall to play in, so he and Dad headed right out after opening presents (goes to show no number of presents can outweigh spending time with his dad)

Zoey, Corbin and I stayed inside playing: Miss Zoey loves her kitchen she has so many things to put in & take out she’s a busy girl now!

We had the family over for dinner and  after we watched the movie “Up”, Grandma was just as, if not more, enthralled with the movie than Logan!  He’s looks so tiny squished between Grandma and Joel. :)

We had a wonderful Christmas, hope everyone else’s was the same!
