Thanksgiving & some fun

We had a quiet Thanksgiving this year with just our little family…

I made some of the food the day before with Corbin’s help of course:

On Thanksgiving we each made turkeys using clothespins and tracing our hands on paper:

Everyone got a haircut during the Thanksgiving week, Matt shaved his head, I got a hair cut, Logan got buzzed, we gave Zoey bangs (or at least tried) and we trimmed up Corbin’s hair.

Grandparents Day at Preschool

Logan’s preschool had a grandparents day or special visitor day.  Since all of Logan’s grandparents are out of town, I went and took pictures and video of the event.

Happy Halloween!!

Prince Corbin

One of the kids’ favorite game is pretending to fight sabertooth (Logan) and the Princess (Zoey) is up in the castle (the sofa) and then dad and the Prince (Corbin) have to save the Princess.  So cute!  I love hearing them talk, shriek and laugh as they play.

Prince Corbin is fearless against the fierce sabertooth, his giggles are also very contagious – his most lethal weapon.

Front porch obliteration

Yup our front porch is a goner! The sidewalk was sinking, the porch was falling apart, so Uncle Robert ok’d the taking apart and construction of a new one.  It was fun to watch:

Logan loves everything tools, so we was out there every step of the way helping. The new porch is on, but due to really bad weather Matt hasn’t been able to pour a new sidewalk yet.

More Birthday FUN!

Logan was very lucky this year and got to celebrate his birthday twice!  The second time around we did a monster cake… so much fun!

Apparently Corbin was moving too slow… not to worry he has two older siblings willing to help out!

Next was Dad’s birthday, we made him little cherry pies (that way he can take them to work since no one else eats it!)

Logan is 4!

Logan chose a “Jake and the Neverland Pirates” party this year.

We went on an adventure to recover the stolen sword of Jake: 

First you had to feed Tic Toc the croc, be careful not to enter the waters and stay on dry land:

A fine band of pirates:

Second, catch the falling coconuts (plastic easter egss)

Third, go through the obstacle course

Finally, recover the sword and pin it on Jake:

Then our pirate friends earned their own swords:

It was a fun filled day, but the best part is seeing our little guy with a smile from ear to ear.  Happy Birthday Logan!
