Quilt-crazy!

I've done it again, and I can't believe it! I just finished another t-shirt quilt, this one was bigger than the last one and lots more t-shirts...
I stacked all the shirts up before I started... just shy of 4 feet tall

I had approximately 180 shirts, some were front and back which turned into 220 squares of t-shirts for the quilt.

Tying the quilt... it took 6 1/2 hours to complete, four 14 foot 2x4's, lots of large thumbtacks and I had to use the primary room at church

All done tying!! This is just to give you an idea of how big the quilt is...

After trimming and adding on quilt binding the final width is 11 feet 1 1/2 inches

The final length is 10 feet 5 1/2 inches

The final product...

FRONT

BACK

I finished this quilt in record time (well record for me) and now I don't know what to do with myself, but I am sure I can think of something!

Lots of thanks to Matt for helping me move the quilt around the house, drilling my extremely large quilting frame together and for all his support especially when I got frustrated.

way to go! I just made a 9 sq. tee shirt quilt and let's just say, that was enough for me. Not a big fan, espeically with my little crappy sewing machine!! :) Good job
