Greece or as it looks in Greek Ελλάδα.
Our First stop in Greece was Olympia. Below is the Palaestra, and during the ancient Olympics this is the place where wrestling and boxing took place.
This is the Phillipeion, a structure built to hold statues of the family of Phillip (I don't know who Phillip is) but one of the statues was of Alexander the Great.
Below we are standing in front of the entryway to the Olympic field. The Greeks didn't build a stadium, instead spectators sat on the slopes of the hill that surrounds the field.
I am sitting on one of the corner pillars of the Temple of Zeus. This temple use to house the statue of Zeus which use to be one of the seven ancient wonders of the world. It's a pretty big temple...
