I broke my first bone!! It took 27 years but it finally happened. I broke the distal
phalange of my big toe. It wasn't as painful as I think most toe fractures are because I walked on it for a week and a half before I had it checked out. The injury was from soccer, and I bruised and swelled right away, so after a week of it not getting back to 100% my sister recommended a doctor visit.
But now I am sporting around a fashionable sea foam blue walking shoe (which of course matches everything I wear), accented with a sporty ankle sock. I am sad that I can no longer use "I've never broken a bone" as a unique characteristic, but it was probably bound to happen one day anyway.

I haven't broken one either. First, Katrina, then you... I guess that means I am next! I want to see a picture of you sporting your sexy shoe :)
I think I broke my pinky toe at BYU. It was so annoying because I couldn't do anything for it, like get a cast or a very fashionable sea foam flip flop to wear on patrol...I hope it gets better soon!
